TEC Basic CCR
In this course you will learn all the basics of rebreather diving.
Training content
The TEC Basic CCR course focuses on learning how to use the rebreather in a recreational environment in accordance with the equipment manufacturer’s instructions. Decompression dives are not included in this course and may not be performed after the course without further training. The course focuses on manufacturer-specific protocols and thus promotes a deep understanding of the technique and its limitations, which is essential for advanced diving courses.
As a beginner, you will be familiarized step by step in theory and practice with the basic exercises and skills that ensure precise handling and emergency response. Dismantling and rebreather follow-up are covered as well as the correct handling and storage of sensors and breathing lime.
At the end of the course you must be able to reliably prepare and dive the rebreather.
Training content
- Learning the basic functions and safe operation of CCR devices
- Proper disassembly of the equipment according to the manufacturer
- Application of manufacturer-specific preparation and inspection procedures before, during and after the dive.
- Management of potential underwater problems with CCR systems.
- Understanding and operating open bailout systems in the zero-time range
- Practicing emergency management techniques and team-oriented diving

- Maximum depth 30 meters
- Within the zero time
