TEC Fundamental CCR

The TEC Fundamental CCR is an advanced course for diving with the Sport Rebreather.

Training content

All basic exercises are deepened here and the fundamental exercises of technical diving are also trained (see TEC Fundamental OC). You will be introduced more deeply to rebreather theory and will have to find adequate solutions for complex errors. The course covers advanced bail-out scenarios, trim and buoyancy control as well as project-related equipment configurations. The CCR Fundamental deepens your awareness and understanding of a CCR device and its function.

Depending on the specifications of the rebreather manufacturer, the TEC Basic CCR and TEC Fundamental CCR can/must be trained in a joint course.

Training objectives

  • Stationary problem solving
  • Solving individual errors
  • Acquisition of fundamental, stationary safety concepts through constant practice routines
  • Basic finning methods
  • Perfecting buoyancy and trim
  • Making entry into training measurable
Limit after successful course completion
  • Diving depth depending on recreational diving certification

Prerequisites

At the start of the course:

  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Proof of health status, not older than 2 years
  • Proof of i.a.c. TEC Basic CCR or comparable, according to current i.a.c. equivalence list
