The Trimix Light Instructor shows that he has understood the course content and has mastered it to demonstration quality.

Training content

The Trimix Light Instructor shows that he has understood the course content from the TEC Advanced Nitrox and Trimix Light course and has mastered it in demonstration quality. The principles of all exercises must be explained to the student. The theoretical background, such as equipment configurations, decompression, runtime diving, etc., must be available. The training takes place under the supervision of a Trimix Light Instructor Trainer within a TEC Advanced Nitrox/Trimix Light course, in which the candidate takes on more and more responsibility and finally leads the course independently.

Qualification after course completion

  • Training and certification of TEC Advanced Nitrox and Trimix Light users with max. 30 min. deco
  • max. 40m diving depth for TEC Advanced Nitrox training courses
  • max. 50m diving depth for Trimix Light training courses

Prerequisites

At the start of the course:

  • Minimum age 21 years
  • Proof of health status
  • i.a.c. Tec Fundamental Instructor or comparable, according to the current i.a.c. equivalence list
  • Proof via i.a.c. Normoxic Trimix or comparable
  • Valid instructor liability insurance
  • At least 200 logged dives or electronically logged CCR hours, including at least 50 decompression dives
