The i.a.c. TEC Fundamental Instructor teaches the introduction to technical diving.

Training content

The i.a.c. TEC Fundamental Instructor teaches the introduction to technical diving. This instructor level forms the basis for all further TEC courses. The TEC Fundamental focuses primarily on precise buoyancy control and trim, finning techniques, team awareness and controlled ascents with and without the use of a surface buoy. The basics of OC/Sidemount and/or CCR are trained for behavior in the event of defective equipment and loss of breathing gas. The TEC Fundamental is a very important course that demands a lot of theoretical and practical content from the instructor.
