TEC Solo


Learn important skills to be able to solve any problem under water on your own with the help of excellent technical skills.

Training content

In specialist areas such as TEC diving, professional diving or as an instructor, you often have to move around in the water virtually solo. Here, it can be vital to have solo skills.

In the course you will be familiarized with the basic knowledge of no-decompression solo diving in theory and practice. You will need introductory theory and knowledge of setting up redundant equipment.

In the course you must show that you not only understand the equipment and planning of no-decompression solo dives, but also have sufficient self-discipline and are able to assess situations correctly.

The aim of the course is to teach you skills based on a high level of situational and situational awareness and to be able to solve any problem under water on your own with the help of excellent technical skills.

Depth limit after successful course completion: 40 meters within the no-decompression time and regardless of TEC certification

Prerequisites

At the start of the course:

  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Proof of health status, not older than 2 years
  • Proof i.a.c. TEC Fundamental OC or i.a.c. TEC Fundamental CCR or comparable, according to current i.a.c. equivalence list
  • Logbook proof of at least 150 logged dives (OC) or 150 logged diving hours (CCR), 30 of which must be deeper than 30 meters
