Specialty Altitude Diving


Here you will learn how to dive safely in mountain lakes.

Training content

In the Altitude Diving specialty , you will learn at which altitudes you are located in order to accurately calculate the saturation or final saturation for the ascent and descent routes. Furthermore, the special problems and dangers, but also the fascination of mountain lake diving will be made clear to you. You will also learn how to plan and carry out such dives safely, taking environmental protection into account.

  • General safety aspects of altitude diving and the emergency plan, ensuring the rescue chain on site
  • 1st dive in a group of two or three
    • Safe diving in the mountain lake with experience mediation
  • 2nd dive in a group of two or three
    • Simulation of icing
    • Experience mediation

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 12 years old
  • Proof of health status
  • Proof of Open Water Diver or comparable
  • Cold water equipment according to EN 250, additional equipment
  • For minors, a declaration of consent from a parent or legal guardian is required
