      This Dive Center meets the following specifications.

      Tauchfreunde Hurghada is a base under German-Egyptian management that has set itself the goal of offering its guests more than just day trips, but a diving vacation that you won’t soon forget. For example, they guarantee that no more than 2/3 of the authorized divers are on their boat, so that every diver has enough space and peace and quiet on board. Depending on the weather, all dive sites around Hurghada that can be reached in one to two hours are visited. The daily changing dive sites, which are always selected according to the preferences of the diving guests, make every diver’s heart beat faster. Whether wreck, reef, deep diving or simply relaxed fish sightseeing in beautiful lagoons, everyone will find what they are looking for here. Pick-ups are also available to avoid having to anchor at the well-known and usually crowded dive sites.

      Base

      The base is located in the center of Hurghada in the El Dahar district. With the latest rental equipment from the brands Apeks, Aqualung and Waterproof, every diver will find suitable, high-quality equipment. In addition to scooters and side mount equipment, Tauchfreunde Hurghada also offers stand up paddle boards directly on their boat for accompanying divers.

      Diving

      All trips organized by Tauchfreunde Hurghada are offered as day trips. Guests are picked up from the hotel in the morning and taken to the harbor. Depending on the dive site, guests can then relax on the sun deck for 30 minutes to 2 hours. After a detailed briefing, the first dive takes place and you can marvel at the incredible underwater world of the Red Sea. Colorful corals as far as the eye can see, turtles, feather-tailed rays sleeping on the bottom, lionfish eagerly searching for food and, with a bit of luck, a school of dolphins passing by. After the first dive, guests can enjoy a freshly prepared lunch to recharge their batteries for the next dive. The dive sites around Hurghada are very varied: from leisurely dives in shallow lagoons, drift dives or wreck dives, there is something for everyone here. The dive boat of Tauchfreunde Hurghada, which is over 25 meters long and has been completely rebuilt, carries an inflatable dinghy so that friends of pick-up or drift dives can also get their money's worth. After two or, if desired, three dives, the dive boat heads back to the harbor and all guests are taken back to their accommodation. The transfer in the city area, lunch, drinks and guides are always included in the packages on offer.

      Education

      Tauchfreunde Hurghada, an i.a.c. dive center, provides training up to Master Diver level in accordance with the association's standards. This also includes all current specialty courses (deep, nitrox, wreck, etc.). The OWD courses take place on the first 2 days opposite the base in a hotel pool and the lagoon (house reef) and the third day on the boat.

      Children's education

      With the certified children's diving instructor and the appropriate equipment such as children's suits, children's BCDs and 7l tanks, as well as special regulators, even the smallest of divers are given optimal and child-friendly training.
