Training content

The Normoxic Trimix Instructor is a new step towards redundancy and training. From this level, all basic exercises are required in open water without reference and under time limit. This means that the instructor should be at a high level of training in order to be able to demonstrate all Normoxic skills at a high level. The Normoxic Trimix Instructor training requires not only the mastery of all exercises in demonstration quality, but also that the instructor demonstrates very good teamwork skills and good judgment during the exam.

Qualification after course completion

  • Training and certification of Advanced Nitrox (ONLY OC possible) and Normoxic Trimix users without deco limit
  • max. 60m diving depth during training

Prerequisites

At the start of the course:

  • Minimum age 21 years
  • Proof of health status
  • i.a.c. Trimix Light Instructor or comparable, according to the current i.a.c. equivalence list
  • Proof of i.a.c. Full Trimix or comparable
  • Valid instructor liability insurance
  • At least 300 logged dives or electronically logged CCR hours, including at least 50 decompression dives
  • At least 50 dives/hours deeper than 40 meters
