The Full Trimix Instructor is characterized by a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical implementation.

Training content

The Full Trimix Instructor is characterized by a high level of theoretical knowledge about the planning of Trimix dives and application philosophies as well as extensive diving skills and experience in TEC diving. The Full Trimix training requires not only the mastery of all exercises in demonstration quality, but also that the instructor has an above-average ability to work in a team and a good critical attitude during the examination.

The Full Trimix Instructor may conduct Trimix User courses and Full Trimix courses and certify students according to their performance.

Qualification after course completion

  • Training of deco dives without deco limit
  • Training and certification of Trimix and Full Trimix users
  • max. 75m diving depth for Trimix training courses
  • max. 100m diving depth with Full Trimix training

Prerequisites

At the start of the course:

  • Minimum age 21 years
  • Proof of health status
  • i.a.c. Normoxic Trimix Instructor or comparable, according to the current i.a.c. equivalence list
  • Proof of i.a.c. Full Trimix or comparable
  • Valid instructor liability insurance
  • At least 400 logged dives or electronically logged CCR hours, including at least 100 decompression dives
  • At least 50 dives/hours deeper than 60 meters
