      Dive Center services:

      This Dive Center meets the following specifications.

      Diving in a class of its own in the Meemu Atoll, with an enormous amount of big fish! The 5-star resort of Medhufushi is 1000 meters long and 200 meters wide on the eastern side of the Meemu Atoll and is one of only two islands in this southern atoll of the Maldives that have been developed for tourism. The island is characterized by a beautiful lagoon, which is ideal for swimming, surfing and first dives. There is no better place to learn to dive. Medhufushi will appeal above all to guests who want to relax in an international atmosphere in luxurious surroundings. The transfer takes approx. 45 minutes by seaplane.

      Living

      Facilities: Main restaurant, à la carte restaurant, bar, souvenir store and swimming pool with sun terrace.

      Accommodation: Beach villas with telephone, flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player, WiFi, safe, minibar, kettle, air conditioning, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, semi-open bathroom, WC, outdoor shower and wooden terrace facing the sea with Maldivian swing. Water villas with indoor bathroom, espresso machine and private balcony with sea view.

      Catering: Half or full board with sumptuous buffets.

      Sports/entertainment: Fitness room, table tennis, volleyball and snorkeling trips to various reefs several times a week.
      For a fee: canoeing, sailing, catamaran sailing, surfing, kitesurfing, banana boat, water skiing, fishing trips, massages and spa. Occasional evening entertainment.

      Base

      The gently sloping beach with its coral blocks is the ideal base for beginner training. Werner Lau and his team train in accordance with i.a.c., SSI and PADI guidelines. The diving courses are conducted in small groups of a maximum of two students per instructor.
      Since 2017, the water sports center has also been under the management of the diving center.

      Season: all year round

      Diving

      Boat dives: Most of the 30 dive sites are dived exclusively. As many dive sites are located in the interior of the atoll, stress-free diving is the order of the day. Of course, professionals also get their money's worth: the
      The dive sites in the Muli Channel (Mantas & More, Sharks Tongue, Simply the Best) are just 20 minutes away and are some of the best underwater diving in the Maldives. During the season from May to November, manta rays can often be spotted here. Outside of this period, the manta spots on the other side of the atoll are visited. Day trips or two-tank trips are also offered two to three times a week. The great scooter dives are especially recommended in the channels!
